The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Erik Zarkov has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zarkov moves in looking to clinch but Cassidy pushes him off.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Cassidy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Zarkov is looking to stand back up but Cassidy counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Zarkov.
Cassidy wants to take a breather but Zarkov is having none of it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cassidy lands a nice short elbow.
Cassidy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Zarkov!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Zarkov is in all sorts of trouble here.

Zarkov tries to clinch but Cassidy is having none of it.
Cassidy throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Zarkov colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Cassidy as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Zarkov is left battered and dazed whilst Cassidy and his camp cheer!
