The crowd seem to be enjoying Rodalgo's choice of entrance music: Ace of Spades - By Motorhead. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson misses with a takedown

and Rodalgo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Henderson is trying to drag Rodalgo to the mat but Rodalgo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Rodalgo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rodalgo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Rodalgo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
It looks like Rodalgo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Rodalgo working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Henderson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Rodalgo! Submission of the night perhaps?

Michel Rodalgo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
