Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Guy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Braga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Guy digs a good body shot into Braga's ribs.
Braga sizes up Guy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Guy misses with a leg kick
and Braga counters with a two punch combo.

Braga tries to bum rush Guy with a series of wild strikes but Guy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Braga keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Guy looks to land a left hand but Braga moved out of range nicely.

Guy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Braga's guard.
Braga is striking off his back. Guy thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Guy is looking to advance position but Braga won't allow it.
Guy drops an elbow to the side of Braga's head.
Braga is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Guy jumps into side control!
Braga gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Braga wants to improve his position but Guy is controlling well.

Braga is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Guy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Guy.

Braga drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Braga jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Guy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Braga defends it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Braga lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Braga wants to pass the guard but Guy is keeping the position.
Braga working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Guy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Braga's guard.
Guy slips nicely into half guard.

Guy throws a strike but Braga avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Guy won't allow Braga to sweep him here.

Braga tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Guy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
