The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amarration tries to keep at a distance but Jee has taken the fight into the clinch.

Amarration has clasped his hands together around Jee's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Amarration sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jee is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Jee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Amarration wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Amarration looks up at the clock and then as Jee takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Amarration smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Amarration has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Amarration scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Jee is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Amarration can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
