The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Oliveira.
Oliveira avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Afvalbak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Afvalbak throws out a loose jab but Oliveira uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oliveira lands a really nice looking cross but Afvalbak seems unphased.

Afvalbak looks to score with a jab to the body but Oliveira is just out of range.
Afvalbak has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Afvalbak there as he acknowledges the shot.
Afvalbak uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Oliveira.

Afvalbak fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Oliveira, pushing him back against the cage.
