With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroto Shimizu!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn shoots for a takedown but Shimizu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hiroto Shimizu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Penn gets caught flat footed, as Shimizu shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shimizu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shimizu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Penn has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Shimizu should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Penn has tightened it up now! Shimizu should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
