Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Weed King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King has managed to clinch.

Lashley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

King has closed the distance and engaged Lashley in a clinch.
Lashley can't break the clinch.
Lashley landing knees to the body.

Lashley misses with a hook from the clinch.
King scores with an uppercut up the middle.

It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut.

Lashley tries to throw a body punch but King avoids it by throwing Lashley back against the cage.
King lands an elbow inside that Lashley shrugs off.

Lashley tries to pull guard but King won't allow it.

King pushes Lashley back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
King lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
King lands a left hand.
King fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
King is pressed up against the cage. Lashley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag King down to the mat. King avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lashley looks winded!
King misses with a series of wild punches.
Lashley shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Weed King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Lashley.
King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lashley.
King dives in and grabs Lashley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lashley pushes down on King's head and hops out.

King has Lashley up against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The cut above Bobby Lashley's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

King lands an uppercut.
King lands with a right to the head.
Lashley blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
King lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lashley backwards.
King tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
King swings away with an uppercut that misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, King just misses with a elbow thrown towards Lashley's brow.
King throws a punch but it's blocked by Lashley.
King scores with a shot to the side of Lashley's head.

Lashley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Weed King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King swinging wildly here.
King is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lashley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Lashley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lashley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.
King wants to clinch.
Lashley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lashley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but King swivels and escapes.
King tries to bum rush Lashley with a series of wild strikes but Lashley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King wants to clinch up but Lashley keeps it at a distance.

and Lashley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in King's guard.
King is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
King keeping moving, preventing Lashley from controlling successfully.
King has momentary wrist control but Lashley slips an elbow through the middle.

Lashley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of King's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lashley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lashley wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
Lashley won't allow King to get back to his feet.
Lashley looking to sit in guard and control but King gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

King gets to his feet. Lashley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
King misses with a double jab

and Lashley moves into the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lashley blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lashley has King pressed against the cage.
Lashley wants a takedown but no success here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

King throws the left hand but Lashley avoids the punch easily.
King wants to clinch up but Lashley keeps it at a distance.

Lashley has managed to clinch.
King fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lashley.
Nice elbow from King.
Lashley tries to pull guard but King won't allow it.
King looks to throw an elbow but misses.
King comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bobby Lashley's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
