The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn fails in his attempt to clinch.
Suarez shoots in and gets a takedown into Penn's guard.
Penn looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Suarez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Suarez working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Suarez lands a couple of elbows.
Suarez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Penn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Suarez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Penn has momentary wrist control but Suarez slips an elbow through the middle.
Suarez works over Penn with some ground and pound from guard.
Suarez loads up on a big left hand. Penn felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Suarez looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Penn can't hide his disappointment, as Suarez celebrates the victory.
