Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between jp Califf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Black!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Califf avoids it really well and circles away.
Black wants to clinch
and Califf makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Califf misses with an attempted mid kick.
Califf shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Black but Black pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Califf takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Black looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Black misses with a few strikes there.

Califf shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Black shoots in for a double leg but Califf sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Califf rushes Black and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Black wants to break free but Califf has control.
Black tries to pull guard but Califf forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Nice takedown defense from Black. No joy for Califf on that attempt.
Black lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Califf backs up against the cage.

Black shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Califf as he jumps to the side.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Califf is defended easily by Black.

Black shoots in and gets a takedown into Califf's guard.
Califf wants to sweep here but Black controlling him for the moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that jp Califf will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Califf has closed the distance and engaged Black in a clinch.
Califf drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Califf tries to pull guard but Black holds him up against the cage and eventually Califf drops back down to his feet.

Califf dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Califf's head and hops out.
Califf with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Black to score with a decent uppercut.

Califf breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Black throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Califf was covering up waiting for the punch and Black finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Califf is pulling down on Black's head. It's preventing any offense from Black, at least for the moment.
Black has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Califf is proving hard to escape from.

Black stands and throws Califf's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Black cracks Califf with a big right hand but Califf just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Black tries to score with some ground and pound. Califf controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Black stalks Califf and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Califf's face. Califf staggers backwards, shaken.

The fight stays on the outside here - Black looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to jp Califf.
I think Califf has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
