Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Duran Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scotty McFinnagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duran comes to the cage accompanied by Hungry like the wolf. McFinnagan has chosen I'm Shipping Up to Boston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Duran Duran has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duran fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McFinnagan misses with the body kick
and McFinnagan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Duran looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McFinnagan misses with an uppercut. Duran saw that one coming.
McFinnagan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Duran tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McFinnagan is in Duran's guard.
Duran will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Duran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McFinnagan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McFinnagan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Duran's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Duran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McFinnagan is trying to hold Duran in close to prevent damage but Duran has managed to pass into half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Duran Duran will probably get the nod.

Duran Duran decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
