Luke Jones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pot tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pot.

Jones gets a double leg takedown into Pot's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jones wants to control from the top but Pot keeps moving.
Pot wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jones is now in half guard.
Jones winds up and cracks Pot with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Jones lands with a punch from half guard.

Pot is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Pot throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Jack Pot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Pot's head but Pot sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Pot throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Pot.
Pot throws a hook but Jones blocks it.
Jones takes a swing at Pot's ribcage but misses.
Jones lands a right hook to the body.
Jones fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pot on the side of the head.

Pot takes one on the button.
Jack Pot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pot tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Pot tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pot moves out of range of the strikes.
Jones lands a lovely overhand right.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Pot misses the target.
Pot throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
A punch combination from Jones misses.

enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab.
Pot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Pot doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Pot uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones moves out of range as Pot throws a body kick.
Pot misses with a few strikes there.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Pot uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pot fails with a takedown attempt.
Pot throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pot doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.

Pot is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
Luke Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Pot keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Jones unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Pot wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Jones celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
