Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titus Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn has chosen Jack Parow - Dans Dans Dans as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Colt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Titus Quinn!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn misses the jab.
Quinn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Quinn takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Colt.
Quinn moves to clinch but Colt breaks away

and Colt counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Colt takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Colt throwing shots but Quinn is blocking nicely.
Quinn taking some punishment here, with Colt in his half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Colt is looking for a kimura but Quinn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Colt to get the leverage.
Colt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Colt throws a strike but Quinn avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Quinn has momentary wrist control but Colt slips an elbow through the middle.

Quinn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Colt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Colt postures up and lands a big shot to Quinn's brow.

Colt gets to his feet - Quinn follows without any prompting.
The crowd cheers as Quinn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Colt doesn't seem phased though.

Colt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Quinn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Colt gets to his feet. Quinn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Quinn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Colt shoots in for a takedown but Quinn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Titus Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quinn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Colt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Colt is landing with some decent strikes but Quinn is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quinn is in a horrible position here. Colt smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Quinn keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Quinn regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Colt.
Colt throws a strike but Quinn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Colt pulls Quinn in close to prevent any damage.

Colt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Quinn's guard.
Colt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Colt is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Colt with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Colt's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Colt wants to control from the top but Quinn keeps moving.

Quinn has his foot on Colt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Colt works his way back into a safe position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Colt lands a nice short elbow.
Colt is nestled in close to Quinn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Colt seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Quinn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Colt tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Quinn.

Colt winds up and cracks Quinn with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Colt thows a huge punch but Quinn dodges it nicely.

Colt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Quinn is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Colt shoots in looking for a takedown but Quinn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Colt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Colt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Colt lands a big shot there that rocks Quinn but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Colt postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Quinn looks a forlorn figure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Colt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Jackson Colt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
