Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hudson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Roll Over DJ. The key to victory for Xavier Styles has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hudson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Styles on his heels. He'll look to pass Styles's guard now, I'm sure.

Hudson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Styles is just riding it out for now. Hudson eventually gives up the hold.

Hudson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Styles is in close to Hudson's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hudson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Hudson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Styles tries to avoid it but Hudson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Styles to the ground. Styles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hudson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Styles but Styles pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Xavier Styles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Hudson.

Hudson fails to land the takedown.
Hudson shoots in for a double leg but Styles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Styles throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hudson was covering up waiting for the punch and Styles finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hudson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Styles is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Gary Hudson will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hudson tries for a takedown but Styles sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Nice combo by Styles! Oh, that's hurt him - Hudson falls to the canvas and Styles follows him into side control.

Styles scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hudson to see if he's OK.

Styles scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hudson is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Styles can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

After winning the bout, Xavier Styles thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
