Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gim Ruut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Calbrentes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruut comes into the arena with Taree - Soundgarden blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calbrentes swinging wildly here.

Calbrentes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ruut.

Ruut feints and as Calbrentes raises his hands in defense, Ruut changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ruut drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Calbrentes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ruut has Calbrentes in his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gim Ruut will probably get the nod.
