Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Living Laser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tj Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Living Laser could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tj Machida's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laser throws a poor cross that misses
and Machida counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Laser swinging wildly here.
Machida thumps Laser with a low kick.
Laser throws a series of punches but Machida moves out of range.
Laser throws a lazy right hand but Machida sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Laser throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Machida counters with a nice leg kick.
Laser wants to slow Machida down by chopping away at his legs.
Machida takes one on the button.

Laser cracks Machida with an uppercut from hell and Machida crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Laser's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Machida is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Machida wants to stand and escape but Laser is having none of it.
Machida is still in real trouble! Can Laser finish him?
Laser lands a couple of digs.
Laser stops Machida from standing up.
Laser missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Laser has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Laser gets to his feet - Machida follows without any prompting.
Laser looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Laser throws a chopping leg kick but Machida manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Machida seems to have recovered his senses.
Laser tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Machida tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Laser manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Machida checks a low kick from Laser.

and Machida counters with a nice low kick that buckles Laser's knee momentarily.

Machida misses with a few strikes there.
Laser tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Laser swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Laser is breathing heavily.
Laser misses with a combination
and Machida counters with a body kick.
Some wild striking there from Laser.
Laser takes one to the chin there.
Machida throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Laser stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Laser swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Machida is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Machida lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Laser misses with a double jab.
Machida fails with an attempt to clinch.
Machida throws a leg kick which misses Laser's front leg but catches the back leg as Laser tries to avoid it.
An inside leg kick lands from Machida.

Machida on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Machida has Laser up against the cage in a clinch.

Laser breaks the clinch.
A jab from Laser misses.
Machida connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Laser ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Machida moves away.
Laser lands a two punch combo.
Laser misses with a body punch
and Machida counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Machida.
Machida tries to clinch but Laser moves out of range.
Machida throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Laser's head.
Laser on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Machida. Machida obviously looking to wear him down.
Machida lands with a kick to the temple. Laser shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Laser circles away from the clinch attempt.

Machida moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Machida scores with a head kick. Laser tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A low kick from Laser is predictable there
and Machida counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Laser pivots, looking for a leg kick but Machida is out of range and Laser settles back down.
Machida connects with a high kick.
Machida takes a swing at Laser's ribcage but misses.
Machida tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Laser manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Living Laser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laser throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Machida counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Laser is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Laser throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Machida lands with a kick to the ribs.
Tj Machida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Laser looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laser is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Machida wants to stand up but Laser is controlling him.

We're going to have a standup here because Living Laser wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
A left lands for Laser.
Machida takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Laser throws a nice looking combination but Machida bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Laser listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Laser misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Living Laser dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Laser cracks Machida with a hook to the temple - Machida is on wobbly legs here! Laser swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Machida falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Laser wins by TKO!
