Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benoit has chosen Spineshank - New Disease as his entrance music. Chris Benoit will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Jackson Sanders has been cut.

Sanders feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Benoit wants to sweep here but Sanders controlling him for the moment.
Sanders wants to control from the top but Benoit keeps moving.
Sanders lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Sanders postures up in Benoit's guard and throws a big left but Benoit blocks it.
Benoit bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sanders's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Benoit is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sanders has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sanders is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Benoit knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sanders cracks Benoit with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Sanders postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Benoit looks a forlorn figure.

Benoit wants to control but Sanders is having none of it.

Sanders pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Sanders cracks Benoit with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
