Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson's entrance music is If I cant do it.. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Simmons.
Jackson swings for the body but Simmons moves out of range.
Jackson lands a head kick!
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Simmons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Both fighters circling a little - Jackson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jackson lands with a hook. Simmons tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jackson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Simmons will feel that in the morning.
Jackson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Simmons on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Simmons does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jackson ducks under a wild hook from Simmons.
Jackson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Simmons counters with a stiff right hand.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Simmons is just out of range.
Jackson moves out of range as Simmons strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Simmons.
Simmons doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jackson misses with a shot to the body
and Simmons makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Simmons drops Jackson with a beautiful combination! Jackson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Simmons is looking for the KO!

It looks like Curtis Jackson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Simmons takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Simmons fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Simmons lands a big right hand that sends Jackson crashing to the mat! Simmons stays standing though and waves Jackson back to his feet!
Simmons drops Jackson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Jackson! Simmons dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
