Mamas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by bodies. Zachery Houk has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houk stuffs the takedown.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mamas.
Mamas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Houk circles away.

Houk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mamas's waist but Mamas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Houk off to one side.

Houk is looking to work some ground and pound but Mamas has wrist control.

Houk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mamas dives on top into guard.

Mamas stands and steps away. Houk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Houk tries to close the distance and clinch but Mamas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mamas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Houk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Houk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mamas tries to avoid it but Houk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mamas to the ground. Mamas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Houk takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mamas slaps away a takedown attempt from Houk, before circling back to the center of the mat.
