The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicholls slips under a jab from Torello.

Nicholls ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Torello moves away.
Torello misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nicholls.
Nicholls looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Nicholls throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Torello's waist but Torello gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nicholls off to one side.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A close round but James Torello will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Nicholls ducks right into an uppercut from Torello.

Torello swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nicholls.
Torello throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nicholls walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Torello fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nicholls manages to avoid it.
Torello takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Nicholls is rocked!
BOOM! Torello lands a beautiful left hook that drops Nicholls. Nicholls tries to recover but Torello is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Nicholls lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
