With a record of 3 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Kotaro Fuma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Khan!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan shoots in for a double leg but Fuma sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fuma looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Khan has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Fuma thuds his right hand into Khan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Khan shoots for a double leg takedown but Fuma sprawls well. He's pushed Khan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kotaro Fuma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Khan.
Khan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fuma defends it nicely.

Fuma throws a right hand that Khan ducks under and follows up with a left that Khan also avoids with ease.

Khan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Khan showed some decent athleticism there.

Khan content just to control the position here.

Khan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fuma has managed to escape the submission attempt.
