The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Condit tries to clinch up.
St Louis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Condit to the mat! Condit manages to get full guard.
Condit will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
St Louis wants to control from the top but Condit keeps moving.
St Louis engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Condit not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
St Louis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Maxim St Louis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
St Louis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Condit's guard.
St Louis content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Condit has locked up a guillotine! Condit's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? St Louis is holding on here and Condit must be using up a lot of energy. St Louis has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Condit gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
