The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Yamamoto.
Crunch! Yamamoto slams his shin into Is Back's torso.
Is Back lands a jab to Yamamoto's midsection.
Yamamoto dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Is Back. That did some damage!

Is Back sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Is Back, right into the meat.
Is Back throws a series of strikes that have Yamamoto backpedaling.

Yamamoto shoots in for a double leg but Is Back sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yamamoto drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Is Back moves into range and connects with a jab.
Yamamoto gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Yamamoto misses with a takedown attempt - Is Back sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kato Is Back is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Is Back connects with the punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yamamoto is looking to clinch but Is Back is avoiding it.
Is Back moves out of range of the body kick from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto closes the distance and clinches up with Is Back, looking for a takedown. Yamamoto pushes Is Back against the cage but Is Back circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Yamamoto. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Yamamoto walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Is Back lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yamamoto circles away quickly and effectively.
A head kick misses from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Is Back's waist but Is Back gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yamamoto off to one side.
Yamamoto looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Yamamoto is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Is Back cracks Yamamoto with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Yamamoto falls to his knees and Is Back doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
