Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sang Min Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luigi Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sang Min Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luigi Fry!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kim.
Fry slips a jab and a cross from Kim.
Kim throws a shot from downtown. Fry moves away and avoids it.
Fry misses the shot to the body.

Fry shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kim napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kim is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fry is controlling him well.
Fry throws an elbow but Kim slips to the side and avoids it well.

Kim is looking to control Fry's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kim avoid being mounted?

Fry seems to be working for a kimura but Kim defends the submission attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's time! Kim's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Kim lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Fry shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fry showed some decent athleticism there.

Kim has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fry is working away from the top position though.

Fry is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kim sees it coming and defends easily.
Kim is trying to maintain the position but Fry is very close to passing his half guard.
Fry wants to control but Kim is keeping him busy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fry working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kim is looking for a sweep. Fry is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kim makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kim.
Fry postures up in Kim's guard and throws a big left but Kim blocks it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sang Min Kim.
I think Kim has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Sang Min Kim rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
