Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ripley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hasse Hansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripley comes to the cage accompanied by The Talented Mr. Ripley - Tu Vuo' Fa l'Americano . Hansson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Saliva - Click Click Boom. Mr Ripley could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hasse Hansson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Ripley closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hansson quickly recovers to half guard.

Ripley is trying to drag Hansson to the mat but Hansson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ripley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hansson defends it well.

Ripley uses his free foot to push down on Hansson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hansson.

Hansson is desperately trying to improve his position but Ripley has a good base and remains in mount.

Ripley swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hansson is now in Ripley's guard. A big mistake from Ripley there, giving up the dominant position!

Ripley wants to sweep here but Hansson controlling him for the moment.

Hansson gets to his feet - Ripley follows without any prompting.
Ripley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hansson circles away quickly and effectively.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
