The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mazza shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mazza showed some decent athleticism there.
Mazza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shabadoo keeps working.

Shabadoo is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Mazza pulls his head out easily.

Shabadoo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mazza is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Shabadoo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mazza's back instead.
