The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray throws a hook but Oven avoids it easily.
Gray looks to land a body kick but Oven moved away.
Oven shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Oven avoids a punch combination nicely.
A slow jab from Gray misses its intended target.
Gray on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Oven. Oven obviously looking to wear him down.
Gray wants to land a leg kick but Oven is out of range.
Oven throws a nice inside leg kick.
Oven lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

The fighters circle momentarily. Gray darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That kick from Oven tenderised Gray's leg. Gray is trying to keep his angry face on.

Oven moves into the clinch.
Oven wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gray has him pressed against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gray ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gray no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Oven is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Gray has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oven can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
