Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dova Lova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ultimate Brutality!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brutality tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lova was well out of range. Poor timing from Brutality.
Brutality doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Brutality has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lova finds it's way round the side to connect with Brutality's head.
A head kick misses from Brutality.
Dova Lova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brutality takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lova ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lova smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Brutality slips a jab and a cross from Lova.
Horrible takedown by Brutality or perhaps it was just good defense by Lova which made him look bad.
Brutality walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Brutality keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brutality takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brutality closes the distance but Lova moves to the side
enabling Lova to counter with a crisp jab.
Brutality tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lova paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brutality shoots in for a takedown but Lova shows good takedown defense.
Brutality takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lova scores with a jab to the body.
Some wild striking there from Lova.
Brutality on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Lova connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lova throws a body punch but Brutality moves out of range.
A jab from Lova does it's job there.
Nice cross by Lova.
Lova pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Brutality back to the cage. Lova follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A punch lands to the side of Brutality 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lova lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Brutality falls backwards - clearly groggy! Lova dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dova Lova!
