The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Knight knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Knight lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wallace at a distance.
Knight closes the distance and lands a one-two.
No joy there for Knight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Knight bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wallace tries to land a front kick but Knight steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Wallace connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Knight to the floor! Wallace dives in looking for the finish!

Michael Knight's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Wallace perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Wallace - that will leave a mark!
Wallace moves out of range of the strikes.
Knight uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.
A combination from Knight does no damage.
A slapping body kick lands there for Wallace.
Knight takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wallace throws a front kick that sends Knight stumbling back into the cage.
Wallace fails in his attempt to clinch.
