Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jack Ryan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jack Ryan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jones is trying to drag Ryan to the mat but Ryan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ryan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryan is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ryan swings around for an armbar but Jones sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ryan's guard.

Ryan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ryan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ryan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ryan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ryan has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ryan's guard.

Ryan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
