Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Medranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Medranda's entrance music is Buck dich. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carlos Medranda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Connor Young!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young falls off balance throwing a combination
and Medranda counters with a head kick. That will keep Young thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Medranda walks into a left hand.
Young gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Medranda connects with a good right hand that stumbles Young. Young circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Young swinging wildly here.
Medranda throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Young.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Young throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Medranda makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Young really felt that one!
Young throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A punch combination from Medranda misses.
Medranda throws a right and a left that both miss.
Young tries to close the distance and clinch but Medranda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Young looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Young crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Medranda - the referee stops the clock and Young gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Medranda. Young manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A head kick from Medranda lands but Young takes it in his stride.

Young is rocked!

It looks like Connor Young has been cut.

Young is still on wobbly legs! Can Medranda finish him?
Connor Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Young takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Medranda catches Young with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Young forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
