PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khulet Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Oliveria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Oliveria told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveria throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Malapitan counter with a right hand.

Oliveria tightens his grip and picks Malapitan up, before dumping him to the ground. Malapitan manages to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Malapitan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Oliveria is controlling him.

Oliveria looks to land a left hand but Malapitan moved out of range nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Malapitan moves forwards but Oliveria connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Oliveria throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Malapitan crashing down! Malapitan tries to stagger back to his feet but Oliveria just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Malapitan asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
