Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ O Brian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). TJ O Brian will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brian doesn't manage to clinch there - Aldo circles away.
O Brian looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Aldo doesn't succeed with the takedown

and O Brian counters with a single leg into guard. Aldo didn't expect that.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. TJ O Brian wasn't active enough on the ground.

O Brian rushes Aldo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

O Brian has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Aldo regains guard immediately.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if O Brian can do anything to dispel that myth.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
O Brian is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Aldo looks to land a combination. O Brian sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Aldo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Aldo wants it to stay on the feet.
O Brian avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Junior Aldo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
