Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Albern Kaur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Boreham!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boreham is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kaur sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kaur falls off balance throwing a combination

and Boreham counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Kaur pushes Boreham off and gets back to his feet.

Kaur tries to sprawl but Boreham drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Kaur moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kaur is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boreham is aware though and is defending well.

Kaur working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boreham doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boreham manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Boreham trying to control the position from guard on top but Kaur is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kaur is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Boreham rolls with it to try and escape but Kaur cranks on the arm and Boreham is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Albern Kaur!
