The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leroix connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tires. Tires circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Leroix wants to clinch up but Tires keeps it at a distance.
Leroix throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A good leg kick by Tires.
Tires moves forwards but Leroix connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Leroix blocks a jab.
Tires throws a looping overhand right but Leroix ducks down to avoid it.
Leroix throws a head kick that misses.
Tires thuds a left hand into Leroix's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tires, right into the meat.
Leroix misses with a straight left.
Tires drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Tires closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Tires gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Leroix pushes off an throws an elbow but Tires leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Leroix lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Tires or not.
Leroix tries to break the clinch but Tires is controlling the position.
Tires is trying to break the clinch but Leroix is controlling him.
Tires lands an uppercut.

Tires misses with some punches.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tires takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Tires is trying to maintain a safe position but Leroix gets an underhook and turns Tires into the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Leroix just misses with a elbow thrown towards Tires's brow.
Leroix swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tires throws an elbow but it misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tires creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Tires escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Leroix takes a swing at Tires's ribcage but misses.
Leroix misses with a kick to the body.
Tires tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Leroix was well out of range. Poor timing from Tires.
Tires thuds his shin into the meat of Leroix's side.
Leroix is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leroix throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Leroix scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tires lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tires throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Leroix's head.
Tires misses with an uppercut. Leroix saw that one coming.
Leroix on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Tires lands with a nice body punch.
Tires lands with a straight right. Leroix didn't see that one coming.
Leroix misses with a low kick.
Brick Tires seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tires lands a brutal head kick. Leroix looks out on his feet and Tires throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
