The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coach connects with a high kick.
It looks like Dirt McGirt has been cut.
McGirt looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Coach decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coach connects with a nice short shot to McGirt's temple.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McGirt can do anything to dispel that myth.
Coach works his foot free and advances to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGirt takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Coach's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
