These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Symonds lands a head kick that stumbles Verchanko and the fighters go to the mat.

Verchanko is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Symonds stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Oh Verchanko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Verchanko throws a lazy right hand but Symonds sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Symonds moves in looking to clinch but Verchanko pushes him off.
A head kick by Symonds - that's a beauty! Verchanko is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Symonds can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
