Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Maes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petar Metlicic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Leon Maes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Leon Maes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maes lands a left and a right that send Metlicic crashing to the mat, dazed. Maes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Petar Metlicic has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Metlicic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maes's waist but Maes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Metlicic off to one side.
Maes tries to move into range but Metlicic moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Oooooh!!! Maes has knocked Metlicic down with a huge combo! Maes steps away and waves a wobbly Metlicic back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Metlicic is rocked!
Maes lands a brutal uppercut that launches Metlicic off his feet! Metlicic tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leon Maes!
A very excited looking Leon Maes made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
