A fine choice. Jacobs has chosen Guns In the Sky - INXS as his entrance music. Horatio Jacobs is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Andreas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jacobs counters with a left to the body.

De Andreas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jacobs sprawls well initially but De Andreas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jacobs regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from De Andreas.
De Andreas wants to control from the top but Jacobs keeps moving.

De Andreas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jacobs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jacobs wants it to stay on the feet.

Jacobs feints and then cracks De Andreas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow De Andreas down.
Joey De Andreas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

De Andreas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jacobs napping and manages to drive through into side control!
