Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ryan wants to stand but Kane is controlling his posture from full guard.

Kane scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ryan tries for a takedown but Kane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ryan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ryan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kane circles away.

Ryan gets to his feet. Kane looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Ryan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ryan is landing with some decent strikes but Kane is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Kane is in a horrible position here. Ryan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Ryan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kane's face.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kane is desperately trying to improve his position but Ryan has a good base and remains in mount.

That was a close round but I would say that Ford Ryan will probably get the nod.

Ryan throws a strike but Kane rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ryan wants to get back to his feet but Kane passes into half guard.
Ryan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kane is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ryan has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ryan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Ford Ryan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
