Coolidge drops Shields with a right and a left! Coolidge comes rushing in but Shields regains his composure and manages to keep Coolidge in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coolidge connects with a nice short shot to Shields's temple.
