PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton comes into the arena with BOOM by P.O.D. blaring out of the sound system. Vaughn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Wild Thing. Rick Vaughn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Rick Vaughn has been cut.
Vaughn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Orton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vaughn lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Vaughn gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vaughn makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Orton avoids the elbow strike from Vaughn, against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Vaughn. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
