Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shtipe Zaruchich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zaruchich tries to avoid it but Slice manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zaruchich to the ground. Zaruchich escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slice fails with a takedown attempt.
Shtipe Zaruchich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zaruchich lands with a thumping leg kick.
Zaruchich throws a push kick but Slice slaps the foot to one side.
Slice jabs at Zaruchich's body.
Zaruchich lands a nice leg kick that just misses Slice's sensitive parts.
Zaruchich throws a right hand that Slice ducks under and follows up with a left that Slice also avoids with ease.

Zaruchich tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Slice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Slice tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zaruchich swivels and escapes.

and Slice holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Zaruchich wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Slice has him pressed against the cage.
Slice has Zaruchich pressed against the cage, preventing Zaruchich from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Zaruchich lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slice circles away quickly and effectively.
Slice fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Slice sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Slice misses with a takedown attempt - Zaruchich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Slice is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Zaruchich.

It looks like Kimbo Slice has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zaruchich. Slice does a little dance to reset his feet.
Shtipe Zaruchich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zaruchich rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slice moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Slice throws a right and a left that Zaruchich avoids nicely.
Slice slips a jab and a cross from Zaruchich.
A slow jab from Zaruchich misses its intended target.
Zaruchich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Slice closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zaruchich to the mat! Zaruchich manages to get full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Slice passes into half guard.
Slice seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Slice throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Slice decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
A low kick from Zaruchich misses
and Slice counters with a straight right hand.
Slice scores with a jab to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Slice or perhaps it was just good defense by Zaruchich which made him look bad.

Slice closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slice on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Slice escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Slice closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Slice manages to break the clinch.
Slice shoots for a takedown but Zaruchich saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zaruchich throws a lazy head kick
enabling Slice to counter with a crisp jab.
Zaruchich thows a body shot but no joy.
Zaruchich throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Slice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slice fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Zaruchich misses with the combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Shtipe Zaruchich will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Kimbo Slice's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Slice forces Zaruchich back against the cage and clinches.
Zaruchich is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Slice is defending well for now.
Zaruchich is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Slice is keeping busy.
Zaruchich seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Slice is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Slice breaks the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Slice leaning against his opponent.
Slice wants a takedown.
Zaruchich wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Slice - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Slice works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Slice wants to control from the top but Zaruchich keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kimbo Slice was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Zaruchich throws a series of punches but Slice moves out of range.
Zaruchich throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Slice rushes Zaruchich and presses him up against the cage.
Slice tries to pull guard but Zaruchich won't allow it.
Slice is trying to drag Zaruchich to the mat but Zaruchich just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Shtipe Zaruchich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Slice.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zaruchich is pressed up against the cage. Slice has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zaruchich down to the mat. Zaruchich avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Slice gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Slice lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Slice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zaruchich throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Slice counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zaruchich's guard now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kimbo Slice.
Slice throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Slice showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zaruchich.
Zaruchich fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Slice looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Zaruchich drops his hands momentarily and Slice takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Slice closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Zaruchich on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zaruchich tries to get out of the position.

Slice shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zaruchich napping and manages to drive through into side control!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Slice displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zaruchich throws out the jab.

Zaruchich wants to stand and escape but instead Slice has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Shtipe Zaruchich has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Slice is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Slice is controlling Zaruchich's posture.

Slice is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Zaruchich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Slice has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zaruchich has managed to get both his arms back between Slice's legs - danger averted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Slice is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kimbo Slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
