The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Parka slips a straight right by Mauser.
Piru Parka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Parka there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice takedown defense from Mauser. No joy for Parka on that attempt.
A punch combination from Mauser misses.
Parka takes the fight into the clinch.
Mauser lands a right hand that snaps the head of Parka backwards.
Parka working some nice short punches in the clinch.
It looks like Trent Mauser has been cut.
Mauser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mauser throws a solid leg kick but Parka takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mauser.

Parka misses with a wild body shot.
Parka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mauser circles away.

Mauser fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Parka.
Mauser on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Parka. Parka obviously looking to wear him down.
The fighters circling - Parka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Mauser misses with a straight left.
Mauser throws a jab but it's blocked by Parka.
Mauser throws a lazy uppercut
and Parka counters with a nice uppercut.
Parka looks to land a right hand but Mauser moved out of range.
Mauser gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Parka.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mauser throws a shot to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mauser.
Mauser throws a looping overhand right but Parka ducks down to avoid it.
Parka instigates a clinch.
Mauser misses with a hook from the clinch.
Mauser struggles to land a body shot inside as Parka controls his hands.

Parka fails to pull guard.
Parka has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mauser is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Parka lands with a short shot to the head.
Parka drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mauser pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mauser chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Parka can pounce on him.
Mauser throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Parka on the side of the head.
Parka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mauser instigates a clinch.
Mauser pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Parka shoots for a double leg takedown but Mauser sprawls well. He's pushed Parka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mauser fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Good standup being displayed there by Mauser as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Piru Parka has been cut.

Mauser thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mauser lands a left and a right that send Parka crashing to the mat, dazed. Mauser thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parka throws a jab but it's blocked by Mauser.
Mauser cracks Parka with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mauser has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Parka to stand back up!
Parka is rocked!
Mauser blocks a leg kick.
Mauser fakes the body blow, causing Parka to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Parka goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
