Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Emilianecko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vin Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barnes closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Emilianecko quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barnes is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Emilianecko sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Barnes stuffs the takedown.

Barnes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Emilianecko's guard.
Emilianecko throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Emilianecko could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Barnes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
