Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between El Senor Sox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Ming Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Senor Sox could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dave Ming Chang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, El Senor Sox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Ming Chang!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ming Chang was well out of range. Poor timing from Sox.
Sox thows a left - swing and a miss!
El Senor Sox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ming Chang scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sox doesn't seem bothered though.

Sox dodges the punch combination from Ming Chang.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ming Chang.

Sox will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ming Chang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sox checks the leg kick.
Ming Chang lands a nice shot that snaps Sox's head back.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ming Chang. Sox does a little dance to reset his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that El Senor Sox will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ming Chang in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Sox stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ming Chang displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sox, as that shot connected.
Ming Chang on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ming Chang lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ming Chang.

Ming Chang lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sox's sensitive parts.

Sox has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sox there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ming Chang misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sox.
Ming Chang shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ming Chang looks to land a right hand but Sox moved out of range.
The fighters circling - Ming Chang throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ming Chang throws a body punch but Sox moves out of range.
El Senor Sox is winning the standup battle so far.

and Sox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ming Chang throws a lazy right hand but Sox sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ming Chang throws a front kick aimed at Sox's knee but Sox avoids it well.
Ming Chang throws a leg kick but Sox sees it coming and moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Sox as he connects with a hook.
Ming Chang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sox moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ming Chang scores with a jab to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ming Chang takes a swing at Sox's ribcage but misses.

Sox cracks Ming Chang with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ming Chang looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sox finish him?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

El Senor Sox dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Ming Chang takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Ming Chang feints and then cracks Sox's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sox down.

Sox connects with a jab.
Sox works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ming Chang is still on wobbly legs! Can Sox finish him?

Ming Chang takes a swing at Sox's ribcage but misses.
Sox cracks Ming Chang with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ming Chang tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sox pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ming Chang is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). El Senor Sox!
After the big win, El Senor Sox made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors XTREME PWNAGE: Down Under! and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
