Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Brunner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costa has chosen His Own Highlight Video as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Mike Brunner has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mike Brunner seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Costa gets tackled into the cage by Brunner. Brunner maintains the clinch.
Costa is trying to stall.

Brunner has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Costa uses from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Brunner wants to sweep but no luck.

Costa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brunner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brunner has escaped and now he's on top!

Brunner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Costa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brunner has managed to get both his arms back between Costa's legs - danger averted.

Brunner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brunner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brunner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Costa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brunner defends it easily.
Brunner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brunner gets to his feet. Costa looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Brunner avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Brunner shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Costa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Brunner is working Costa over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Costa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Brunner is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Costa.

Brunner throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Costa has his hands clasped together but Brunner breaks the hold and Costa is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Brunner!
