Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Anus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ikenai Tayou. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anus doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Anus lands a jab to Chan's midsection.
Chan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Anus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chan is just riding it out for now. Anus eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chan is staying active underneath Anus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Chan has momentary wrist control but Anus slips an elbow through the middle.
Chan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Chan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Anus looks a forlorn figure.

Anus is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Anus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chan wants to control the pace but Anus is squirming around nicely.

Anus takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Chan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Anus. Anus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Anus shoots in for a takedown but Chan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Anus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Chan feints and then cracks Anus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Anus down.

Anus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chan manages to avoid it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Chan.
Anus is breathing heavily.

Chan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Chan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Anus tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Chan misses with a wild body shot.
Chan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Anus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Chan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Anus is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Anus walks straight into a right hand from Chan - that's dropped him! Chan jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Anus from any more punishment! Anus complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
