Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Moxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonathan Moxon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Jonathan Moxon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots for a double leg takedown but Moxon sprawls well. He's pushed Green's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Moxon lands a leg kick that knocks Green off balance momentarily.
Moxon thows a body shot but no joy.

Moxon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Green might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Moxon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Green's guard.
Green is looking for a sweep. Moxon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Green slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Moxon throwing strikes from guard but Green blocks nicely.
Moxon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Green's guard.

Moxon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Green defends it well.

Moxon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Moxon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Green tries to get to full guard but Moxon has control of the leg.
Green makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Green.
Green wants to sweep here but Moxon controlling him for the moment.

Moxon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moxon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Moxon passes Green's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Green wants to control but Moxon is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Green is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Green scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Moxon manages to mount him!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Green is trying desperately to improve position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Moxon wants to finish this one by submission but Green is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Moxon.

Green keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Green sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Green is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Moxon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Moxon's back!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moxon is taking damage to the body and head.
Green lands a shot to the head.
Moxon breaks Green's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Moxon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moxon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Green can't keep his opponent in guard - Moxon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Green wants to get back to his feet but Moxon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Moxon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Green has managed to free his arm - good work.
Moxon prevents Green from improving his position.
Green is working hard here to advance position.
Moxon is nestled in close to Green, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Green wants to get back to full guard.

Moxon is looking for a kimura but Green is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Moxon to get the leverage.
Green is pressing down on Moxon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Moxon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Green is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moxon, into his guard.

Moxon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Moxon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Green keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Moxon's head.

Green is posturing up here but Moxon has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Green tries to roll out but it's too tight and Green has to tap! Slick submission there by Moxon!
