The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Beleza.
Andrews shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beleza pinned against the cage. Beleza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Beleza shoots in looking for a takedown. Andrews tries to sprawl out of it but Beleza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Andrews manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Andrews looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Beleza with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beleza tries to get to full guard but Andrews has control of the leg.
Andrews seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beleza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
