The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Wilkins.
Severson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Severson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wilkins takes a step back to recover.

That was a close round but I would say that CJ Wilkins will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
